Soil Requirement
Soil Requirement:
Peas can be grown on all types of soils but it prefers well-drained sandy loam soils. The soils should rich in organic matter as it enhances better growth by supplying nutrients at a slower rate. It does not thrive well in highly acidic or alkaline soils or saline soils. It grows best at pH 6.5. If the pH is less than 6.0 then it should be amended to get to improve the soil conditions.
