Harvesting

Harvesting:

Leaf plucking (50%) 75 days after sowing and subsequently at 15 to 20 days interval helps generate extra income. Coriander should be swathed when 80 per cent of the seeds turn purple-brown. Swathes should not be left out too long due to the potential for shattering. Swathing when there is dew or high humidity will reduce shattering losses.

Yield:
A yield of 12-25 q/ha under irrigated condition and 7-8 q/ha under un-irrigated condition can be easily obtained. Clean and dried seeds filled in bags are stored in damp-free aerated stores.
